am back at writing fun programs again. Today I published a new free open source cross platform player piano titled Piano Roll. It comes with a few hours of popular and classic music and is very easy to setup. It has real sounding instruments and includes the ability to use more than one instrument in a song.

Here is a brief video clip of the program playing the song Georgia by Ray Charles.

The program is written in C# and builds use dotnet 8. It makes use of Avalonia for the cross platform user interface, and SDL for playing audio. The program is available here on my github page. For Linux users, running the publish script builds and installs the program with a nice icon in your menu, and creates copies of all the music and instruments. Once the publishing is done you can delete the source.
