One of my laptops suddenly developed the following problem with its LCD monitor. It displays a stuck vertical dotted yellowish line pattern. Below is a simulated screenshot of the problem. My question is, has anyone ever had a problem like this and how did you fix it? Do you think it might be an easy problem to fix by checking a cable or connection inside the laptop? Any advice would be appreciated.
